Qualified Crane Operators

At MCR, our crane operators are highly qualified through a combination of recognized certifications, extensive training, and hands-on experience.

We ensure that each operator possesses the necessary expertise to handle complex lifting operations, solve challenges, and meet the specific requirements of your project with precision and safety.

SPECIALTY RIGGING

Qualified riggers/signalman – person who attaches or unattached lifting equipment to loads or lifting devices and who gives signals to crane operators. He/she has also successfully completed and approved training program that includes familiarization with rigging, hardware, slings, planning and lifting loads, as well as inspection and maintenance of equipment.

Bullrigging – method or system of rigging commonly used where a crane (mobile/overhead) cannot gain access. The planning and application of using chain hoists and other similar devices to drift loads (moving horizontally while suspended).

Jack and skate system – jacking and skating systems are often employed by heavy lift companies and rigging companies as an alternative to mobile cranes for those contexts in which mobile cranes have limited or no access. Because a jack and skate system can lift and slide an item to its final position, it is often used for the removal or installation of heavy equipment and machinery inside buildings.

Riggers Forklift A "rigger's forklift" is used to move heavy machinery or large equipment in confined spaces, utilizing specialized attachments to lift and transport items safely, often within a facility or during a relocation process, where a standard forklift might not be suitable due to the size or complexity of the load; essentially, it allows for precise maneuvering and lifting of heavy objects with the versatility of a forklift. Unlike a standard forklift, a rigger's forklift is equipped with additional rigging gear like slings, shackles, and lifting beams to securely attach to the machine and distribute the weight properly. The maneuverability of a forklift allows for movement in tight areas where larger cranes might not fit. Rigging attachments enable precise lifting and positioning of heavy machinery, which is crucial for delicate equipment. For smaller-scale lifting tasks within a facility, using a rigger's forklift can be more economical than bringing in a large crane.

EQUIPMENT STORAGE

MCR provides a secure, protected environment to safeguard your valuable equipment from weather damage, theft, and vandalism, while also allowing for easier access and maintenance when needed, ultimately ensuring your equipment remains in good working condition throughout the project.

EQUIPMENT/CARGO TRANSPORTATION

Specialized expertise in handling heavy machinery, ensuring safe and secure transportation, access to the right vehicles for your equipment size, efficient loading and unloading, liability coverage in case of damage, freeing up your time and resources, and potentially cost savings through economies of scale; particularly beneficial when dealing with large, complex, or delicate equipment.

CRANE & RIGGING CONSULTATION

A professional service where experts assess a planned heavy lifting operation, analyzing the site conditions, load specifics, crane capabilities, and rigging equipment needed to ensure the lift is executed safely and efficiently, often providing detailed lift plans and safety protocols to follow. Identify potential hazards and risks associated with a lift, and recommend the best practices for safely lifting heavy loads using cranes and rigging equipment.
